And the homeowner had told me that her roof has been leaking every day for the last seven days and it’s been sunny every single day. And she ended up getting a contractor to come by and they gave her an estimate for a roof repair. And the homeowner said, “Why is my ceiling still leaking and it hasn’t slowed up?” And the contractor ended up telling her, “Well, you need a lot of repair work done to the roof and your insulation up in your attic is really saturated.”
Now, if a roof repair company from Falls Church or anywhere else in Northern Virginia tells you that, don’t believe it for a second. And the reason why is it’s impossible. Water will not continue to leak, because inside the attic it gets very hot and that insulation dries out very quickly. So, it’s more than just a roof repair. So, I told the homeowner,”Turn off the main water line and call me back in an hour and let me know what’s going on.”
So she called me back and she told me that the roof stopped leaking. And what turned out to be the problem was a punctured water line in the attic. And they ended up getting a plumber over there and she no longer has a problem. And she definitely does not need a roof repair to her Falls Church home.
